Today's moron is this substitute science teacher who had students share lancets (needles) when taking their blood for a classroom experiment. The local health department will have mobile labs at the school testing the students for Hepatitis B and C and HIV.

The teacher was fired immediately. The district is just fortunate that this was a substitute rather than a tenured teacher, so the California Teachers Association (CTA) wasn't involved. Rest assured, had this been a credentialed teacher, CTA would have been falling all over themselves to protect them. Thank goodness this person blew it now, rather than making it through the tenure process before he did something this stupid.
